Declarations of Interest: There were no declarations of interest. Election of Chairman: Cllr. Steele proposed that Cllr. Howard be elected as Chairman to serve for the forthcoming year. This was seconded by Cllr. Wilton and unanimously approved.
Minutes of last meeting: The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed as being a true record. Matters Arising: Replacement play equipment, which was ordered during the last financial year, should be installed in
Planning: CA/10/00478/FUL - Single storey extension to side of dwelling. Councillors had no objections to this proposal.
Finance: At the last statement: Deposit account £3461.76 Current Account £392.29 Reserves £3249.34
The Annual Audit for
An invoice is being sent to Canterbury City Council for use of the village hall for government elections on 6 May.
Correspondence:
KCC had sent an update report about the plan for filling potholes after the difficult winter period, and highlighted the availability of the pothole reporting portal on their website.
KCC had sent a letter explaining that details of their future plans and planning would be circulated electronically and not sent in hard copy form.
Any other business:
The subject of blue perspex still visible on the rear of the riding school at Chaucer Stables was mentioned. Also, the presence of three caravans at the rear of the stables was queried. The owner appears to be in breach of planning conditions, which state that the occupier of the new house at Chaucer Stables has to be tied to the business operation.
